What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.30pm. Sorry we are not open in the weekend for delicious goodies or pick ups.
How can we contact you?
You can contact us on 0508 DONUTS, or email us at donuts@originalfoods.co.nz. Please note: as we are dealing donuts and delicious baked goods, our email isn't monitored at all times. For a speedy response please give us a call.
What is your cut-off time for online orders?
12pm the day prior to pick up or delivery.
Where do I pick up my order?
We are located on the corner of 8 Stark Drive, Wigram, Christchurch. You will see our factory Original Foods Baking Co. is attached. Please note: we are not open on weekends.
Do you ship across New Zealand?
We can ship our delicious donuts, cakes and slices within the Christchurch area to ensure they are deliciously fresh. If you would like to find our products outside of the Christchurch area, please visit our Stockist Map.
Can you do custom orders, and how much notice do you require?
We can certainly create delicious custom donuts, and cakes with images. We need at least 48 hours notice for custom orders (3 days for cakes with images) to ensure we can freshly make them to your requirements.
Do you have products to suit dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegan, etc?
We have a delicious range of gluten free slices which you can view here.
We have two dairy free/vegan donut options - Glazed Donuts, and Cinnamon Sugar Donuts, but unfortunately as our delicious baked goods use real ingredients like butter, they are not vegan friendly.
Can I pre-order coffees?
Yes you certainly can, just give us a call on 0508 DONUTS.
Can you cut up the Slab Cakes and Slab Slices?
Yes, we can cut up our delicious Slab Cakes and Slab Slices for you. This is an additional $10 charge.
We have a few pre-cut Slab Slice options available which are cut into 28 pieces. These are $8 extra, and are available in the following flavours: gluten free Brownie, New York Brownie, Ginger, Lollie and Cookie Caramel.
Are you able to do custom cake writing or edible images?
We can! Email us at donuts@originalfoods.co.nz with your image. We require at least 3 days notice.
Are your donuts fresh?
Our donuts are made fresh each day!

Do you have a recommended serving size guide?
Below are the approximate recommended serving sizes, however it will depend how you cut them up to please a peckish or hungry crowd:
Goofy Slab Cakes - approx. 30-50 serves
Goofy Slab Slices - approx. 28 serves
Premium Round Cakes - approx. 8-10 serves
Goofy Round Cakes - approx. 10 serves
Do your cakes and slices come frozen or fresh?
Our delicious baked goods come frozen to ensure ultimate freshness. However, we can defrost for you prior to pick up - just give us a call on 0508 DONUTS.
Getting ready to serve? We recommend removing your goodies from the freezer and thawing at room temperature in packaging for the following timeframe:
Goofy Slab Cakes - approx. 2 hours to defrost
Goofy Slab Slices - approx 2-3 hours to defrost
Round Cakes - approx. 2 hours to defrost
